Director: Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz

Whos in it: Katy Perry, Adam Marcello, Casey Hopper, Angela Hudson, Ann Hudson, Russell Brand

What is it about: A documentary about Pop idol, Katy Perry during her biggest tour back in 2011 and an insight look to her personal life, problems and struggles.

Why we like it: It was really interesting to see what Katy Perry was like behind the scene when she’s not performing. The music and the editing were somewhat amazing. The combination of the slow motion dancing (using the same slow-mo cameras the Jackass crew uses) and the 3D effects during the performance scenes were just stunning.

Why we don’t: Many of the scenes were really brief and do not really explain what was going on. Since this is a documentary, we expected more about Katy Perry’s personal life than the dance and performance scenes.

Verdict: Katycats (fans of Katy) will definitely love this one. Watching this film is like getting a backstage pass to a Katy Perry’s concert.

Rating: 3 stars (out of 5)
