Liam McIntyre on replacing the late Andy Whitfield in “Spartacus: Vengeance”

MAX
"Spartacus: Vengeance" begins just a few weeks after the massacre. Capua is in an uproar. The gladiators have escaped and formed an uneasy alliance. Spartacus wants to exact revenge on the man responsible for killing his wife, but he will soon understand his life is about something greater than avenging Sura's death. His mission is to build an army, set free the slaves and topple the Roman Empire.
Liam McIntyre assumes the title role of Spartacus in this next chapter after the passing of actor Andy Whitfield. Returning favourites that join McIntyre this season are such as Lucy Lawless, Peter Mensah, Manu Bennett, Dustin Clare, Katrina Law and Nick E. Tarabay.
In an interview with Liam McIntyre and Nick E. Tarabay, McIntyre talks about his new role and the challenges of becoming the character the late Andy Whitfield once played.
"Spartacus: Vengeance" premiere with two new episodes back to back, Friday, 22 June at 11pm on MAX (Astro Ch411). For more play dates, log on to MAX.
