Born, 20 August 1983, in Los Angeles and raised in Surrey, "The Amazing Spider-Man" star Andrew Garfield is of dual American and British citizenship. He received recognition at the 2008 BAFTA Television Award for Best Actor for his role on "Boy A" and rose to fame after receiving the role of Peter Parker in "The Amazing Spider-Man."
His personal life became of interest after he split with girlfriend of 3 years actress Shannon Woodward and took his on-screen romance off screen with co-star Emma Stone.
