Your local favourites tell us about their kampung favourites, family and love for hometown food.
In anticipation of the festive season, we asked local personalities like Maya Karin, Mizz Nina, Reshmonu and more about their kampung (hometown) and what they like most about it.
Television host Rina Omar said it's not about going big, "We only celebrate with our relatives and closest friends - it's really about being together with the ones you love on a very auspicious day."
Daphne Iking, on the other hand, has 2 kampung(s) which she feels is the epitome of the au naturel kampung feel, "Both homes are on stilts and we have a fireplace to cook food while the chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and even the little piglets roam freely around the compound."
