Asian celebs turn up in throngs to attend Ella Chen’s wedding ceremony to her Malaysian-Chinese husband, Alvin Lai

S.H.E member Ella Chen's Taipei wedding ceremony to her Malaysian-Chinese beau Alvin Lai yesterday night was undoubtedly one of the glitziest events in Taiwanese showbiz this year.

The second S.H.E member to get hitched following Selina Jen's wedding last year, the ravishing bride was all smiles on her big day as she received blessings and well-wishes from fellow S.H.E members, showbiz pals and loved ones. The emotional bride was even choked up with tears of happiness during her short media interview, which was held before her wedding ceremony, when she spoke on her feelings of becoming Alvin's missus.

Decked in a fiery-red mini-dress, the feisty 31-year-old amped up her wedding proceedings and entertained all guests present at the banquet with a sexy dance performance with her 36-year-old husband.

Held at Taipei's Le Meridien Hotel, the wedding dinner was a star-studded affair attended by a plethora of showbiz pals such as fellow S.H.E members Hebe Tien and Selina Jen, Blackie Chen and Christine Fan, Barbie Hsu, Xiao Bin Bin, Xiao Xiao Bin, Harlem Yu, Matilda Tao, Jerry Yan, JJ Lin, Fish Leong, Chang Hsiao-yen, and many more artistes.
