On Friday, celeb-watchers were hit by the bombshell that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were set to divorce. Understandably, the news set social networks alight. Rumours began to spread that Katie wants sole custody of the couple's adorable daughter Suri and that Scientologists may be stalking the former Dawson's Creek actress. Even controversial media mogul Rupert Murdoch weighed in with his thoughts on the sensational news, tweeting (without the slightest hint of irony) that he believed that there was 'Something creepy, maybe even evil, about these people [Scientologists]', prompting speculation among Tweeters as to whether the church's notoriously assertive media machine would strike back against the powerful tycoon.
