Are you an idol or a voice? Fierce vocals present tough competition between both reality television shows.
You know you've been an avid "American Idol" fan if you can identify with its very first and original title "American Idol: The Search for a Superstar" - those were the days when Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell would argue and bicker on national live television, much to the delight of audiences.
Originally created by Dutch television producer John de Mol, "The Voice," on the other hand, recently hit American shores to see stars like Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton head teams of singers into ultimately becoming "The Voice."
With the finals approaching and both shows having boiled down to their final four contestants, we break both competitions down to look at the hosts and judges that play as important a role as the contestants. You then can placeyour vote for either "American Idol" or "The Voice" on our TV poll!
It's "American Idol" versus "The Voice"!
