Aimed at raising awareness of cancer as well as to encourage cancer prevention, detection and treatment, World Cancer Day is marked on the 4th of February and is led by the Union for International Cancer Control.
In conjunction with World Cancer Day (WCD), we have put together a string of films that depict the lives of people that are faced with the challenge of battling the disease - some being true stories of non-fictional characters.
Watch and find out what it's like for the people around them and the people they will eventually leave behind as in the story of young Adam Schwartz (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who has a "50/50" survival chance or how playboy Will Keane falls in love with a dying woman (Winona Ryder) in "Autumn in New York."
