Moots and Vanessa Chong
Pop Shuvit frontman Moots wedded Vanessa Chong in November. The blushing bride and dashing groom had friends and family flying in from all over the world for the joyous occasion, coming in from the UK, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan, the Philippines and Singapore.
It was especially touching for Vanessa that most of her guests still flew in even after hearing about the earthquake in Bali.
Luckily for Vanessa, her siblings helped in the planning: her brothers Sean made over 100 cookies with icing designed as wedding outfits; Vince was emcee and made the wedding video; Daniel (a personal trainer) trained her and Moots at the gym; sister Pam organised the hen's night and was the maid of honour.
While Moots wore a suit designed by Bon Zainal, the bride's gown was personally designed by Alvin Tay, "It was nice and light, I didn't even have to iron it there. Can you believe it, traveling on a plane with the dress and not having to iron it!"
The couple exchanged vows in Uluwatu, Bali at 'The Ritual' chapel a week after the traditional Indian ceremony.
