The bubbly host shares photos from her wedding day
TV host Rina Omar and Jeremy Smith are married!
MSN Malaysia spoke to the bubbly host shortly after her wedding and it was clear she was still flying high on cloud nine as she said, "We're still on a honeymoon, I guess...because every day is awesome. We're still looking at our wedding photos and going, 'Wow, that was such an awesome day!'"
Movie producer Jeremy - also known as Muhammad Al-Amin Jeremy bin Abdul Aziz - proposed in December last year and the couple threw a pink-themed engagement party in June this year.
Their wedding day packed a punch, with the 'akad nikah' ceremony held in the morning followed by an afternoon reception for family and a night reception for close friends.
Rina says, ""We found this beautiful garden in Taman Tun and we booked it a year in advance. We thought, let's just do both receptions in one day. I thought, hey if I can emcee a rock concert for 12 hours, I can pull off a wedding!"
The big day on December 11th, 2011 turned out beautifully, but not without a dramatic storm literally raining on her garden parade. We're talking trees falling, tents collapsing, floods, garbage, destroyed tables! Thankfully, her brother and friends made sure the happy couple had their special day as planned.
