Morrissey demands festival go veggie
There's no denying that Morrissey is a dedicated champion of the vegetarian cause. He even titled the second Smiths album "Meat Is Murder" back in 1985 and interrupted a performance at Coachella back in 2009 because, as he told the audience, "the smell of burning animals [was] making me sick." So it's not entirely surprising that organizers of Belgium's Lokerse Feesten, who have been trying to book Morrissey for years, would give in to his demand that all food stalls on the festival grounds only serve vegetarian meals the day he performs this coming August. No horse sausages for you then.
