Forbes has this week released its annual list of the world’s highest-paid TV actors, which counts down the most financially successful stars of the small screen over the last 12 months. The biggest shock comes as usual faces Charlie Sheen and Steve Carrell have both been bumped off the list, having both moved on from mega money-spinners Two and Half Men and The Office respectively.

First up on the list is Jason Segel, who as well as continuing in his role as Marshall Eriksen in US smash hit How I Met Your Mother, has found time this year to write, produce and star in the most recent Muppets film. The movie grossed an impressive $160 million at global box offices, sneaking the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star into Forbes' list.
