Shirley Bassey released her second Bond theme in 1971 with Diamonds Are Forever, and reached previously unknown levels of innuendo with lyrics such as  'Hold one up and then caress it, touch it, stroke it and undress it' (what else could she be talking about other than precious stones, we wonder). She also recorded the song in Italian as 'Un Cascata di Diamanti (Vivo Di Diamanti)', and it has since been sampled by Kanye West on his 2005 hit Diamonds from Sierra Leone.
