Far East Movement Live in Singapore 2012
The next tune that came on was an extremely popular one by Duck Sauce; except, the 4 syllables that makes the song "Barbara Streisand" were replaced with "Far East Movement"! The mix up was delightful and concert goers went berserk upon the beginning tenuto notes of "Like A G6." Several concert goers were seen rushing to the front, fist pumping on the way - yes, this is the song that is probably the seed that sprouted their fan base.
The rest of their performance included a dub step spin toward the end of "Like A G6," champagne showering the crowd (what did we tell you about FM never running out of party props?), a lot more dancing, childhood stories of FM growing up in LA and giving out CDs with Prohgress' number on it, and a closing quote, "Sometimes you have to put that jetpack on your back and just fly, like a rocketeer."
