The bubbly English singer had a whirlwind stop in Kuala Lumpur – she went shopping with a lucky MSN reader, performed a showcase AND had an exclusive chat with us on what’s new.
Pixie Lott stopped by Malaysia for her showcase last Saturday at KL Live where the English singer performed songs like 'Kiss the Stars', 'Cry Me Out', and 'Dancing On My Own' as part of her 'Young Foolish Happy' tour.
Playing hosts for the evening, Jin from Hitz.FM and Dilly from Mix.FM tried teaching Pixie some basic Bahasa Malaysia to adorable results. At one point, Jin asked the singer if she had tried a lot of Malaysian food and which was her favorite, Pixie said she really loves 'satay'. Pixie had also tried 'nasi lemak' and 'teh tarik'.
Jin taught Pixie a few words in BM like, "aku cinta kamu", which the star expressed to her legion of screaming Malaysian fans that night.
Some of the other songs performed include acoustic versions of 'Use Somebody' (from Kings of Leon), 'Isn't She Lovely' and her own hit 'Mama Do'.
Some lucky fans celebrating their birthdays sure had an evening to remember; Pixie had the entire crowd sing 'Happy Birthday' to them! Pixie's fans sure are a lucky bunch - one MSN reader and Pixie fan even got to go shopping with her!
Rounding off a night of 'Young Foolish Happy' fun, Pixie performed an encore with 'All About Tonight'.
