Some of us are familiar with the aftermath of rejection - it isn't the best feeling in this world. Just ask Lady Gaga, Marilyn Monroe and even Steven Spielberg. Here's what Gaga said about dropping out of university to pursue her music career, "I left my entire family, got the cheapest apartment I could find, and ate sh*t until somebody would listen."
Being as lucky as Selena Gomez, Dakota Fanning or Mischa Barton to land gigs as a kid doesn't warrant a lack of hard work to the path of success; we've all heard about Mischa's bad attitude on set.
