According to organisers Marctensia, some 15 000 Malaysian fans turned up to Akon’s Beach Ball Freedom Concert at Sunway Lagoon. The 90-minute set included some of Akon’s biggest hits like ‘Smack That’, ‘Don’t Matter’ ‘Sweet Escape’ and his latest, ‘I Wanna Love You’, which led the crowd to a massive sing along! Local acts Nikki and Caprice opened the show for the Senegalese-American rapper.
