Da Mouth - influəns

In a nutshell: Taiwanese band Da Mouth also known as "Big Mouth" in Chinese is back with a new album, "'influəns" This is the band fourth studio album and if you love their previous three albums, this album would suit you just fine.

Why we like it: There are some good mixtures in the album, songs like "Beautiful Luv", "Maybe" and "Defensive Mechanism" have great tempo and are great ballads in the album. "Up 3X", and "Sweetest Hug" are also pretty catchy tunes. The second half of the album was quite enjoyable and will surely attract new fans for the band.

Why we don't: The first four songs sound exactly the same (we actually thought we were listening to the same song). The album gets off to a rocky start, with some songs that were too over the top and noisy, making it difficult to hear the actual melody.

Verdict: Take away the first four songs and you've got an album that's pretty good with some catchy and enjoyable tunes in the mix. That said, it's still worth a listen especially for longtime fans.
