In a nutshell: Since her debut album "Unfold," Marié Digby has since released 3 albums - the latest addition being "Your Love." In the case of bad memory, things lifted off for the Japanese-Irish musician after being first discovered on YouTube; her cover of Rihanna's hit "Umbrella" in a solo acoustic home video has hit over 20 million views since.
Why we like it: Digby's vocals sound sweet and melodious as ever, thirty seconds into her first track and memories of her 2008 hit song "Say It Again" come flooding back. We love her innocent and flowery lyrics - with fun and cheery melodies as accompaniment. The duet with Sam Milby in "Your Love" is a lovely track and "I Do" a heart-warming one.
Why we don't: Perhaps we were expecting a little too much with this new album. While the instrumental songs proved great additions, we were hoping for a few more fresh tracks out of the 14 (which includes the instrumental versions).
Verdict: If you loved her before, you'll love this album now. We say her recorded tracks probably don't do her live performances justice.
