Azlan & The Typewriter, Jamal Abdillah, Mojo and Nora also among those honoured on Malaysia’s biggest music awards night.

It was a big night at Anugerah Industri Muzik 2012 for Jaclyn Victor, Shila Amzah, Mizz Nina and Jamal Abdillah, who each picked up more than one trophy at Saturday night’s ceremony.

Jaclyn was named Best Female Vocalist and her single ‘Counting Days’ scored Best English Song and Best Musical Arrangement while Shila Amzah (pictured above) won Best Pop and Song of the Year for ‘Patah Seribu’.

Yuna won Best Music Video while Mizz Nina won Best Album Cover and the special Kembara Award while veterans Alleycats were honoured with the Sri Wirama Award.

Hosted by Aznil Nawawi and Adibah Noor, many of Malaysia’s best musical talents performed on the night, including Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Stephen Rahman-Hughes, Lefthanded, Jaclyn Victor, Shila Amzah, One Nation Emcees and more.
