After his horror movie directorial debut "Khurafat", director Syamsul Yusof returns to familiar territory with "KL Gangster" - a crime-action movie that will not disappoint fans.
Themes of gangsterism, greed, power and money as well as sibling rivalry are not new but the committed performances from its cast elevate the movie to a new height. You will like the tough-guy gangster takes in this movie and apart from that, Syamsul's brilliant idea to cast Zizan Raja Lawak in the film works as bumbling wannabe thug Abang Long Fadil adds the element of comedy to give the film some durability.
Even though the language used in the movie may seem crude, you will find that it is highly appropriate.
For action films, usually audiences will expect action scenes of epic proportions and that's exactly what they'll get with "KL Gangster". It's a showcase of violence and fight scenes on a very realistic scale.
"KL Gangster" stars Syamsul Yusof, Adi Putra, Aaron Aziz, Zizan Raja Lawak, Sofi Jikan and more.
A tale of three short stories put into one, featuring our very own city, Kuala Lumpur.
The man famous for his portrayal of Ari Gold in 'Entourage' is now the lead star of Sundance Channel's new show 'Mr Selfridge'.
