PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME

The plot: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time follows street urchin Dastan, who is adopted by the king as his heir after Dastan shows valour in battle. Now the Prince of Persia, he teams up with Princess Tamina to rescue the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that control time, from the hands of the villainous nobleman, Nizam.
The lowdown: Hollywood A-lister Jake Gyllenhaal eventually signed on to play Dastan after Bollywood actorHrithik Roshan turned the role down. Gyllenhaal reportedly “over-prepared” for the role, gaining six extra pounds in muscle. Bond girl Gemma Artenton will be playing Princess Tamina and revered actor Sir Ben Kingsley will be playing the baddie Nizam in the movie. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
