Is Andy Lau joining the cast of 'Iron Man 3'?

Rumour has it that Andy Lau may join the cast of 'Iron Man 3', seeing how China will be a part of the film's production. The Hong Kong superstar is slated to play a good-guy scientist who helps create new technology for Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr. ) in his fight against an advanced technology system used by terrorists.

If this turns out to be true, Andy Lau joining the cast will certainly be a great boost for the Chinese market.

Meanwhile, Jessica Chastain ('The Help') has just pulled out from the movie due to a packed schedule and Rebecca Hall ('The Town') is rumoured to be filling her shoes for the part of a sexy scientist out to get Stark's affection.

Other confirmed cast members are Gwyneth Paltrow and Guy Pearce. 'Iron Man 3' is scheduled to be released on May 3, 2013.
