Girls' Generation - 'Gee'

Best known for: Its catchphrase - Gee, Gee, Gee, Gee, Baby, Baby, Baby
Level of Hype: Astronomical

SM Entertainment had a bumper year in 2009 with started off with Girls' Generation's 'Gee' and Super Junior's 'Sorry, Sorry', which was later rounded up with SHINee's 'Ring Ding Dong'. Arguably one of the best known songs in K-Pop, it spread the giant Hallyu wave that was earlier started by the Wonder Girls. With solid vocals and an infectious tune, it has been featured on many commercials and programmes and introduced many to the group who had later become ardent SONEs (name for Girls' Generation fans, pronounced soh-won).
