“We’re looking for hot new talents to be the faces of the 8TV Quickie. If you think you have what it takes, then don’t miss out in this opportunity. You might just be lucky,” says Ms Lam Swee Kim, 8TV’s General Manager.
The network's quest for new hosts will form its own mini reality show called the 8TV Quickie Search.
The new reality series will also give viewers a chance to pick the Quickie's new hosts.
The search begins in the following audition locations:
Oct 10th, Sat - 12pm to 4pm - Laundry, The Curve, Mutiara Damansara
Oct 16th, Fri - 10am - 2pm - Lim Kok Wing University, Cyberjaya
Oct 23rd, Fri - 10am - 2pm - Taylor's University College, P. Jaya
Oct 24th, Sat - 10am - 2pm - Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama
Oct 26th, Thu - 10am - 2pm - Multimedia University, Cyberjaya
From these auditions, only 6 finalists (3 male & 3 female). The Top 6 will then go through a series of training exercises and challenges, to test and improve their PR and communication skills.
The final winners of the search will be announced on January 8th, 2010: 8TV's 6th Anniversary.
