Malaysian Artistes For Unity (MAFU) is back to touch the lives of Malaysians with another unity project called 15MALAYSIA.

Internet broadband provider P1 is collaborating with renowned local singer-songwriter Pete Teo to make 15 short films about Malaysia, reflecting the life, love and arts of Malaysia. 15MALAYSIA consists of 15 short films directed by 15 local independent filmmakers, most of them have won international film awards from major festivals around the world. The cast consists of numerous celebrities, actors, musicians and even high profile and often controversial politicians.

Among some of the country's most talented filmmakers who have signed on to direct the short movies include the late Yasmin Ahmad, James Lee, Ho Yuhang, Tan Chui Mui and Linus Chung. The cast of the short movies include the likes of Khairy Jamaluddin, Adibah Noor, Sharifah Amani, Amber Chia, Daphne Iking and Ida Neria to name a few.

All the films in 15MALAYSIA last between three to six minutes and are made in a variety of languages spoken in Malaysia.

According to the team behind 15MALAYSIA, the films deal not only with the issue of race relations but also various social and political issues faced by Malaysians today. The films were directed to address or represent the real problems that Malaysians face every day, and constructively touch on issues that lie at the centre of the country's present and future.
