5 Nov – GSC Exhibition extended another four screens in GSC IOI Mall Puchong today, bringing the total number of halls to nine, with a seating capacity that is greater than GSC 1 Utama's. Notching up 2,400 new seats, GSC now has a total of 169 screeens in 22 locations nationwide, further establishing its stronghold as Malaysia's leading exhibitor.
The four new halls are situated on the third floor of the New Wing, linked to the five existing halls at the Old Wing via an in-building walkway.
GSC General Manager Irving Chee told Cinema Online: "The old wing will also be renovated and refurbished to bring it to date with our high standards. Our next location will be the 9-screen GSC East Coast Mall later this month and a 8-screen multiplex in Suria Sabah, Kota Kinabalu in the second quarter of 2010."
